Triest is the capital of Friuli-Venezia Giulia region. It´s rich in history & culture & a fascinating mix of Italian, Slovenia & Austro-Hungarian influences naming it very diverse.
Explore with a city guide “the city with a thousand faces”, taking in the Grand Canal, Piazza Unita, the colourful & lively area of Cavana & with the hop on-hop off bus seeing the Roman ruins, Barcola, visiting the breath-taking Miramare Castle & San Guisto.
Our day includes “off the beaten track” visiting the San Sabba Rice Mill-a concentration camp & Muggia - a charming fishing village often described as a small peaceful version of Venice. Snack not included. Return to Triest by Ferry.
