Greenwich Guided Walk

Image representing Greenwich Guided Walk from International Association of Tour Managers

Join us for another of our popular guided walking tours; a Springtime Walk in Greenwich.
We offer two options for joining if you wish to avoid the steps at the Tunnel.

Option 1. We will meet at Island Gardens DLR at 10.30 on Friday April 5th to start with a classic view of Greenwich from across the Thames of the Royal Naval Hospital and the Queens House.... as painted by Canaletto. We continue under the Thames by the historic foot tunnel. Please note there are approx. 90 steps in case the elevator is not available. The tunnel is approx. 370m long.

Option 2. You can also opt to join us at the Cutty Sark at around 11am if preferred.

From there we shall continue through the old town centre, visiting St Alphege church and the market before focusing on the elegant, historical buildings at the heart of 600 years of maritime history (outside visit). Then a look inside the Chapel to hear about the monarchs and famous people that shaped the illustrious past of Greenwich. Afterwards a chance to join friends for a drink or lunch in a cosy pub. (lunch not included!). Since public wc's are not easily available at the start of the walk perhaps visit one of the various cafes to ensure you are "comfortable" before we begin.

Please advise Mimi or Liz to book. We look forward to seeing you!
